Wesley P. Thoroughman

Wesley is Unit Commissioner, Advisor to Tsungoni Chapter of the Order of the Arrow, Cub Day Camp staff member, and Committee Member in Rancho San Joaquin District. Previously, he served as Cubmaster and Webelos Den Leader in Pack 643, Scoutmaster and Committee Member of Troop 616, and Director of Cub Day Camp. He completed Wood Badge training in 2016 and National Camp School in 2014. He received the District Award of Merit and was recognized as Tsungoni Chapter Adult Arrowman of the year in 2015. He actively promotes camping for the Wiatava Pow Wow and the section conclave significantly increasing youth attendance.
As a youth he was in Cub Scouts in Theodore Roosevelt Council, Phoenix, Arizona (now Grand Canyon Council) earning the Arrow of Light.
In addition to Scouting, Wesley is active with Ronald McDonald House assisting with family dinners most Sundays and volunteering for work parties at the Ronald McDonald Camp for Good Times in Idlewild. He also coordinates Eagle Scout projects that support the house. Previously he assisted with fundraising and event planning as a member of the Deerfield Elementary Parent Teacher Association. Wesley lives in Irvine. He has two adult sons, Paul and James.
