F Daniel Priest

Dan serves as Chartered Organization Representative of Troop 724 in El Camino Real District. Previously, he has served as Committee Chair, Committee Member, Tiger Cub Coach, Webelos Den Leader, and Chair of Pack 13. He was also Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 724, plus being on the District Committee, and Day Camp Director.
Frank has completed both Basic High Adventure Training (HAT) and Winter HAT training. One of his more adventuresome experiences was during a backpack trek snowshoeing in a 50mph snowstorm near Lake Sabrina. He learned that a lot of adults can comfortably fit into a snow cave, when necessary. As a Cub Scout, he received the Arrow of Light in 1968 from Pack 452 in Beaver Falls, PA. He also received the District Award of Merit in 2004. In addition to Scouting, Dan is a booster member of the San Juan Hills High School Instrumental Music group and a member of the Rotary Club. He oversees the Scout Hut, the club's official meeting place. It is used by various Boy Scout units, Girl Scout units, and other organizations. Amalia.
Dan lives in San Juan Capistrano with his wife Elizabeth. They have two sons, Arthur, an Eagle Scout and BSA employee, and Alex, plus daughter, Amalia.
