Bob Thiergartner

Bob recently concluded his service as Chair of Orange County Council's Board of Directors and is Chair of the Outdoor Adventures Committee. In addition to Scouting, Bob serves on the Christ Cathedral Board of Directors and is Chair of their Architectural and Renovation Committee.

Bob is also a long-time member of the Santa Margarita Catholic High School Consultative School Board. Previously he has served as Chair of their Finance Committee and a member of the football program's Chain Gang. Bob is also a Board Member of Caritas Corporation, a non-profit that provides low income housing throughout California.

Finally, Bob is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) that provides leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide. When his two adult age daughters were growing up, he coached eleven of their soccer and basketball teams and through the years has served on a number of non-profit Boards. Bob lives in Irvine with his wife Lesley.
