William Hodge

Bill presently serves as Pacifica District Commissioner and a Commissioner at Camp Emerald Bay. He served as Committee Chair and Scoutmaster of Huntington Beach Troop 1. He also served as staff photographer for the 2005 National Scout Jamboree. This imagery appears in many BSA publications. His portrait studio, Grad Portraits, provides the 'Soaring Eagles' art decorating OCC's main conference room and his Eagle Scout portraits are exhibited on CIEC, SDIC, and OCC Eagle Honor Walls.
As a youth, Bill was active in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. In addition to Scouting, he was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in photography and is past president of the National Press Photographers Association. In 1988 he co-founded the Electronic Photojournalism Workshop using the first digital cameras to publish the world's first digitally published newspaper. He enjoys boating to Catalina Island with his yacht club where he served on the board of directors and as junior sailing chair.
Bill lives in Huntington Beach with Erin, his wife of 32 years, and Girl Scout Gold daughter Megan. Their son Connor is a 2006 Eagle Scout.
