John Robinson

John presently serves as Scoutmaster of Troop 1602 in Saddleback District. John has served as the district Program Chair, on the training team including Chair of the Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS), and as Camporee Chair. Previously, he served as Committee Chair, Tiger Cub Coach, Den Leader, Webelos Den Leader, and Assistant Cubmaster of Pack 703, plus advisor to Venturing Crew 408. He has served as the Oso Lake Senior Campmaster and created the Beltloop Bazaar event.

In 2013, John was 2nd Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop C202 that attended the National Scout Jamboree at the Bechtel Summit. As a youth in 1978, he attended an International Camporee near Windsor, Ontario, representing the Detroit Area Council. Their patrol, the Frontiersmen, won best visiting patrol. In addition to Scouting, John has served as referee and coach of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), as a volunteer for Parent Help USA, and is a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. John has been honorably discharged from the Army as Artillery Sergeant.

John lives in Lake Forest with his wife Sheila and children Sabrina, a Venturer and Girl Scout and Josh, a Life Scout.
