Joseph Sova

Joseph presently serves as Committee Member of Orange Frontier District. Previously,
he has served as Tiger Cub Coach, Cubmaster, and Committee Chair of Pack 620, Committee
Member of Troop 660, and is a member of Santee Chapter, Wiatava Lodge, (OA). He
was honored with the District Award of Merit in 2011. As a youth he earned the
Life Scout Rank in 1972 and became an Arrowman in 1968 in the former Scenic Trails Council,
Cheboygan, MI.
In addition to Scouting, Joseph is very involved with American Youth Soccer
Organization (AYSO). He has held the positions of Regional Commissioner, Regional and
Area Referee Administrator, and National 1 Referee. He has held several positions at Saint
Hedwig Catholic Church, including chair of Autumnfest, and currently at Saint Cornelius Catholic
Church he is Eucharistic Minister and lector.
Joseph lives in Long Beach with his wife Sandy, a
Vigil Honor and a Silver Beaver recipient. They have two children, son Dustin, Vigil Honor, Eagle
Scout and Past Chapter Chief of Santee Chapter (OA), and daughter Emilie, Girl Scout Silver Award.
