Huong Thien Pham

Sherry, as she is known to friends, presently serves in Rancho San
Joaquin District as the Institutional Head of Lien Doan Huong Viet
that charters Pack, Troop, and Venturing Crew 105 which she was instrumental in starting.
Previously, she has served as Committee Chair of the same units and Cub Master of
Pack 279 in the former Santiago District. She was also on the
Executive Board that organized the International Vietnamese Jamboree
held in 2006 in Riverside and in 2009 in San Jose.
Sherry received the District
Award of Merit and Venturing Leader of the Year in 2011.
As a youth, Sherry was a Girl Scout in Vietnam before being relocated to
Southern California via Indonesia. While a student in high school and
college in Southern California, Sherry was active in Explorer Post 279,
first as a youth and then as adult advisor.
In addition to Scouting, Sherry has been recognized numerous times for her
volunteer work with the Girl Scouts of Orange County, including starting and
supporting several units. Sherry, an Optometrist, lives with her husband and
four children in Irvine. All six are active Scout leaders or members.
