Joseph Mundi

Joe just completed his term as Scoutmaster of Troop 412 (January 2010 to January 2014), but will continue to serve the troop as an Assistant Scoutmaster. In addition, he currently serves the Pacifica District as Roundtable Commissioner, as a member of the training team and is the current adult advisor for the 2014 District Camporee. Previously, he has served as Tiger Cub Coach, Den Leader, Webelos Den Leader, and Cubmaster of Pack 400.

Joe completed Wood Badge Training in 2009 and has subsequently been on staff for three Wood Badge courses in 2011, 2012, and 2013. He has also been on staff for many Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster Leader Specific Trainings, Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills training events, Train the Trainer sessions and was the adult advisor for the 2012 District Camporee. Joe was a member and the crew advisor of two treks to Philmont High Adventure Base in 2011, 2013 and is preparing for a third in 2015. Joe was presented with the District Award of Merit in 2013.

Joe has also volunteered with the Green Valley Swim Team, South Coast Swim Conference, Girl Scout Troop 1061, Cox Elementary School, Masuda Middle School, Fountain Valley High School, AYSO, and Little League. Joe lives in Fountain Valley with his wife Sue, son Thomas (Eagle Scout 2012) and his daughter Sarah (currently working on her Girl Scout Gold award)
