Jack Lamey
2012
Jack presently serves as an Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 1226
in Huntington Beach. He is the Scouting for Food Chairman for
both Pacifica District and the Orange County Council. His work
with the Boy and Girl Scouts over the past six years has helped
Second Harvest Food Bank receive over 400,000 pounds of food, or roughly
340,000 meals for the hungry of Orange County.
Previously he has served as a Tiger Cub Partner, Assistant Den Leader
and Webelos Den Leader in Pack 226. Jack received the District Award of Merit in 2010.
In addition to Scouting, Jack has volunteered on the annual Fall Festival at Saints
Simon & Jude Church in Huntington Beach for the past eleven years. He has served as
an assistant coach for the Huntington Valley Little League, and volunteer for the
McCartan School of Irish Dance. Jack was a volunteer for the Mater Dei High School
Cross Country team, including four years on the Trinity League Preliminary and
Final Championship meets. Jack lives in Huntington Beach with his wife Donna. T
hey have a son, Brendan, who is an Eagle Scout, and attends Arizona State University,
and a daughter, Caitlin, now living in Jack's home town, working for the Chicago Blackhawks hockey team.
