Amy Goldsworth
2012
Amy is presently Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 1602 in Saddleback District.
She has served as Tiger Cub Coach, Den Leader and numerous committee positions
of Pack 679. As a member of Pack 703, she held several committee positions including
Den Leader, Popcorn Kernel, Scouting for Food coordinator, and coordinated the Pack and
Troop participation in Mission Viejo's Patriot Day flag Ceremony.
Amy is an Oso Lake Campmaster, Tiger Roundtable Commissioner, Cub Day Camp Tiger
Program Director, instructor for BALOO, Cub Leader Specific Training, ASM Leader
Specific Training, and ASM Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills, plus a very
successful council wide Den Chief training and creating the Tiger S.O.S. course.
Since Amy completed Wood Badge, she has served on four Wood Badge staffs and has
been selected as Course Director for the Fall 2013 Wood Badge. Amy was presented
with the District Award of Merit in 2010. Outside of Scouting, Amy has been active
in the PTA, school art programs, and various youth based service programs and domestic
violence organizations. Amy lives in Mission Viejo with her husband Jim. They have
two sons, Nelson, a Life Scout and Grant, a Star Scout.
