Sterling Brennan
2012
Sterling is a member of the Orange County Council Executive Board, serving
as the Chairman of the OCC LDS Relationship Committee for the past four years.
He has also served as the LDS Encampment Committee Advisor at Schoepe Scout Ranch
at Lost Valley, as Merit Badge Councilor, and on the Saddleback District Nominating Committee.
Sterling has completed Wood Badge training and participated in the LDS program week at
Philmont Scout Reservation.
As a young adult, he earned the Eagle Scout rank and served as a missionary in Oklahoma
for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Outside of Scouting, Sterling
is currently Stake President of the Santa Margarita Stake, has coached flag football,
hockey, and baseball with his sons and supported the Tesoro High School Athletic
program and Honor Society for his daughters.
Sterling lives in Coto de Caza with his
wife Annette. They have two sons, Evan and Nathan, both Eagle Scouts and three daughters, Aubrey, Paige, and Haley.
