Robert Batman
2012
Robert presently serves as Course Director for the OCC National Youth
Leader Training (NYLT) program, Associate Chapter Adviser for the Amimi
Chapter, Order-of-the-Arrow, and Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 319 in
Pacifica District. Previously, he served as Webelos Den Leader and Assistant
Cubmaster in Pack 435, as well as Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 226.
Robert was Second Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 821 to the 2010 National Jamboree,
and will be on staff for the 2013 National Jamboree.
He has participated in a trek
to Philmont Scout Ranch and in the High Sierras. He attended the 2012 NOAC in
Michigan, and was Chapter Adviser for the Amimi Chapter. Robert has completed
Wood Badge, Powder Horn, and Backpack Awareness Training.
As a youth, Robert earned the Eagle Scout rank in Goleta. He has
received the Vigil Honor from the Order of the Arrow, was named adult
Arrowman of the Year and received the District Award of Merit.
Robert lives in Huntington Beach with his wife Jan. They have two
sons, Kevin and Kyle, both Eagle Scouts, and one daughter, Elizabeth, a Girl Scout Gold Award recipient.
