Brian Ouellette

2017

Brian serves as Scoutmaster of Troop 636 in Saddleback District and Associate Adviser of Venturing Crew 609. Previously, he has served as Tiger Den Leader, Webelos Den Leader and Cubmaster of Pack 688. He also has served on Cub Scout Day Camp staff for over ten years, as Roundtable Commissioner, and Associate Adviser to the Order of the Arrow Anasazi Chapter. He was named Chapter Arrowman of the year in 2013.

Brian completed Wood Badge Training in 2010 and was on staff for four subsequent courses, holding various positions including Senior Patrol Leader for the Spring 2018 course. He completed Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) in 2008 and was on staff for several years. One of his more memorable experiences as a Scouting youth was waking up face-to-face with a wild boar while camping on Catalina Island. Brian is also an active certified climbing instructor, American Red Cross Instructor, and a National Rifle Association (NRA) certified range safety officer monitoring shooting events at Firestone Scout Reservation, Oso Lake, and NRA gun shows. He received the District Award of Merit and the William D. Boyce Organizer Award in 2012.

Brian lives in Rancho Santa Margarita with his wife Lisa. They have one daughter, Victoria, and two sons, Vincent (Eagle Scout), and Reed (Life Scout).
