2017

Tevye serves as Unit Commissioner in Los Amigos District and as Assistant Scoutmaster (ASM) of Troop 93 and 887. As an ASM, he participates in many camping excursions, backpacking treks, and canoeing expeditions each year. His acquired role in these adventures is to assist the youth in these initial adventures, ease their anxieties, and encouraging them to accept a leadership position and complete the task. In this role, he is highly successful.

Previously, Tevye has served as Venturing/Varsity Roundtable Commissioner, Varsity Coach of Teams 86 and 887, Committee Member of the LDS Fullerton Stake Cub Packs, and Committee Chair and Cubmaster of Pack 871. He was ASM of Orange County Council's Contingent Troop 3335 to the 2017 National Scout Jamboree, held at Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia. His son Caden was a part of the Troop. Tevye completed Wood Badge training in 2013 and received the District Award of Merit in 2012. As a youth, Tevye earned the Eagle Rank in 1995 and is a life member of National Eagle Scout Association. In addition to Scouting, Tevye is actively engaged and participates in the youth programs, particularly Scouting, of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Tevye lives in La Habra with his wife Dana, sons Caden, (Star Scout), Vance, (Tenderfoot), and daughter, Danica, (Daisy Girl Scout).
