Drew H Adams
Drew serves on the OCC Board of Directors and as Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 90. Previously he served as Chairman of the Del Mar District, Finance Chairman of Rancho Del Mar and on the National Jamboree staff in 2010, 2013, and 2017. He was awarded the District Award of Merit in 2015, is a James E. West Fellow and a National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) Legacy Fellow.
Drew's family Scouting heritage includes, father in law Don Canning who attended the 1953 Jamboree and earned Eagle in 1954, his father William L. Adams was on the National Executive Board and received the Silver Buffalo, two brothers were Scoutmasters and his brother Glenn is past President of NESA, currently Chairman of the Florida National Sea Base, and is also a Silver Buffalo recipient. Drew's three brothers and four of his nephews are Eagle Scouts, as is his son Nicholas and son Derrick will soon be sitting for his Eagle Board. In addition to Scouting, Drew has been active in Indian Guides and Princesses and was a Trustee at St. Mary's. The American Diabetes Association named him Father of the Year in 2015.
He joined the Boy Scouts in 1970, earning his Eagle in 1977. Drew lives in Newport Beach with his wife Corinne. They have five children, Jacqueline, Nicholas, Carissa, Katrina, and Derrick.
