Diana Lang

2014

Diana presently serves as Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 319, Committee Member of Pack 557, and Unit Commissioner in Pacifica District. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Bolsa Chica Conservancy for 19 years. This allows her to combine Scouting with conservation enhancement and awareness of our planet.

As a docent, she leads youth tours through the teeming wetlands exposing them to its vast variety of flora and fauna, and sponsors conservation projects for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts. Both of her two sons Eagle Projects were completed for the benefit of the conservancy. Diana has chaired the Science Fair and the Astronomy Night at Eader Elementary School. In 2007, she received the City of Huntington Beach Environmental Board Award and in 2014 the Gold US Presidents Volunteer Service Award. In college, she sky dived for fun. Some fun?!

Diana lives in Huntington Beach with her husband George. Their two adult sons, Karl and Kurt, are both Eagle Scouts.
