Jeffrey Bozanic

Jeff presently serves as Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 412 in Pacifica District and on the High Adventure Team (HAT). Jeff was Senior Patrol Leader of Troop 45 that attended the World Jamboree in Norway in 1975. His Scoutmaster, Albertus Hoogeveen, is present tonight. In 2013, he was the zip line guide at the National Scout Jamboree at the Bechtel Summit. Jeff earned the Eagle Rank in 1972, plus six palms.

Jeff is an accomplished scuba diver and frequently speaks nationwide on diving safety. He has dived on all seven continents with his son Evan, the youngest person at 14 years old to accomplish this adventure. Jeff is a writer, volunteer, researcher, and/or instructor of numerous underwater organizations. He trains novice divers, feeds the fish at the Aquarium of the Pacific, penetrates sunken wrecks, advises on cave diving safety, is a diving advisor to the National Park Service, collects previously unknown marine animal life species, edits/reviews text books on diving techniques, and treats divers with the bends at Catalina. He was inducted in the Marina High School Hall of Fame in 1987. He is that sunken treasure that has resurfaced in Scouts.

Jeff lives in Fountain Valley with his wife Rebekah and their children Evan, Taleah, and John-Aaron (Life Scout).
