Michael Bergler

Mike serves as Committee Chair of Troop 691 and on the District Committee as Merit Badge Counselor Coordinator and Cub Scout Roundtable staff in Rancho San Joaquin District. He previously served for two years as Committee Chair of Pack 672 that he founded. His father, Bill, was his Scoutmaster and is present tonight. His grandfather, Harold, was also a Scoutmaster. His mother, Trudy, earned the Gold Award in Girl Scouts and his grandmother, Natalie, helped build the Girl Scout House in Pasadena.

Mike's favorite Scouting memories as a youth are backpacking in Yosemite National Park every summer and cycling around Lake Tahoe in two days, as a reward for earning the Cycling Merit Badge. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 1985 and is a life member of National Eagle Scout Association (NESA). Mike has served on the board of Omicron Delta Kappa, The Collegiate National Leadership Honor Society.

Mike lives in Irvine with his wife Lisa, a Girl Scout Leader, and children, Girl Scout and Venture Scout Natalie and First Class Scout Jonathan
