Jeffrey Brooks Johnson

Jeff presently serves as Assistant Scoutmaster in Troop 737, Adviser to Venturing Crew 737, Mate to Ship 936, and 2012-2013 Adviser to Tenaja Chapter, Wiatava Lodge, Order-of-the-Arrow (OA) In El Camino Real District. Previously he has served as Den Leader, Webelos Den Leader, and Cubmaster of Pack 1795. Jeff and his entire family were Campmasters at the former Rancho Las Flores.

He completed Wood Badge Training in 2007, became a Vigil Member of Wiatava Lodge in 2013 and was presented with the District Award of Merit in 2012. Jeff is an American Red Cross (ARC) Health and Safety instructor and conducts ARC training in CPR, First Aid (FA), and Wilderness First Aid. For Scouts, he has taught over 40 classes in CPR/FA and presented eight Wilderness First Aid Courses. He is a participant and trainer on the Community Emergency Response Team in San Clemente. As a youth Jeff earned the Eagle Rank in 1974.

In addition to Scouting, Jeff coached soccer, volleyball, and basketball at the Boys and Girls Club and was an AYSO soccer referee. Jeff lives in San Clemente with his wife Mary Jane, his son Joshua, an Eagle Scout and daughter Jennifer.
