Richard Paddock

Richard presently serves on the Advancement Committee as the Eagle Scout Project Advisor in El Camino Real District having approved almost 650 Eagle Scout Projects since July 2004. He has also served in several capacities in Pack 13 and Troop 724 of San Juan Capistrano with his son Bill, plus serving in Pack 760 and Troop 773 of Laguna Niguel where he currently is an Assistant Scoutmaster.

In 2006, Richard was presented with the District Award of Merit. In 2008, he was presented with the St. Mary's and All Angels School Legacy Award while working as the Chief of Police Services in Aliso Viejo. In 2009 he was presented with the South County Teen Center Leadership Award and the Community Leader of the Month by the Aliso Viejo Community Association.

Richard lives in San Juan Capistrano with his wife Becky. They have two adult daughters Lindsey and Emily and son Bill, an Eagle Scout who lives in San Clemente with his wife Kimberly. Richard is now enjoying his second tour through scouting with his grandson, Clark, a Second Class Scout.
